Kenneth Earl "Pepaw" Wasden, 63, of Garden City, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023.
A native of Jackson Mississippi, he was the son of Earl Preston Wasden and Myrtice Allie Harper Wasden.
He was employed by Harco Construction as a heavy equipment operator, a job he truly loved.
He was an avid football fan who most especially loved Alabama, "ROLL TIDE!", and the Dallas Cowboys, "Let's Go Boys!"
In his spare time, he enjoyed playing football, fishing with his four "little partnahs", sitting in the sun getting his tan on and taking walks.
He never met a stranger and made friends everywhere he went. He was a good friend to all he knew but didn't mind telling them when they were wrong.
Survivors include fiancee, Dorothy Hulse; daughter, Rachel Wasden; step-daughters, Jessica Mehalco (Mike), Michelle Rogers (Nick) and Ashley Burnett (Rian); step-son, Michael Doulin, Jr.; sister, Charisse Dorgan (Chris); several grandchildren; his dog, Tuffers; and a host of friends and other family members.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel with Pastor Todd McDaniel officiating.
