Kenneth Edward King Sr.

March 11, 1945 — March 4, 2025

Savannah

Kenneth Edward King, Sr., a very selfless man, who traveled many miles across North America helping navigate children in medical needs to the Shriners hospital(s). Being able to provide this service for families and children in need was one of his greatest joys in life. He also garnered great enjoyment driving the Shriners van in parades of all kinds like the Claxton’s rattlesnake round up, Christmas parades, and the St. Patrick’s Day parade. He was able to show his willingness to help others and share how so very important the Shriners are for providing medical services to children in need. There was never a moment when he was not bragging to people that he met about how much the Shriners are able to help disabled children. He was always willing to pass out a business card to give them the information they needed so they could contact the Shriners if they had or knew any children that needed special attention. As of March 4, 2025, he is no longer with us. Leaving behind a family who loved him deeply. Many amazing people he called friends, and disabled children who were beneficiaries of his unwavering love and dedication to help others in need. The history and the outpouring of love from his heart will continue for decades. This world lost a very willing, very loving and very giving man of his time, heart, and soul. So today we do not celebrate in sadness we celebrate in life! March 11th is his 80th Birthday. Happy Birthday! We love and will miss you forever!

Mr. King was preceded in death by his mother & father, Edward & Elizabeth King and his sister, Carol Clark.
