Kenneth James Ciechanowski, 66, died Thursday, November 2, 2023 in Savannah. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, son of the late John Carl Ciechanowski and Jean Brzezinski Ciechanowski. He lived in Savannah 56 years and worked at Great Dane and Georgia Pacific. Kenny was an avid bowler, enjoyed woodworking and loved spending time on the water and at the beach. Kenny loved his family dearly and enjoyed laughing and making others laugh. He was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife Jill Rutland Ciechanowski of Savannah; children, Erin Ciechanowski Bunger of Savannah; Krissy Ciechanowski Williams and her husband, Dana of Savannah; Brad Ciechanowski and his wife Leslie of Savannah; grandchildren Gabby Williams, Bella Willams, Caleb Bunger and Cameron Bunger of Savannah; brother Arlen J. and Patti Ciechanowski of Polk City, IA; niece Suzanne Ciechanowski of Reinbeck, IA; nephew Joey Ciechanowski of Alta, IA and their mother, Gigi Nelson.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Hospice of Savannah and all of Kenny’s caregivers for their care and support during his illness.
Visitation: 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 4th followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 1003 East Victory Dr Savannah, GA 31405 with Father David Koetter, Celebrant. Burial Bonaventure Cemetery.
