Kenneth G. Smith "Kenny" or "KG", 85, of Savannah, Ga passed away Monday July 16, 2018 under the care of Signature Health Care.
Kenny worked for the city for over 39 years under the Traffic department as an electrician. He was remembered for waiving to everyone in his cherry picker. He was a devoted and loving father, and husband. He was an avid walker and was known as the green machine and road runner at Lake Mayer. In the past Kenny had taught the CIC Sunday school class at Trinity United Methodist Church. He was a humble man. He was also a big fan of The Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Bulldogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents Glenn and Mary Helen Smith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Janet Pevey Smith; daughter, Glenda V. Miller (Bill); sister, Bonnie Jean Hodge; brother-in-law, Sammy Pevey Jr. (Faye); and one granddog Lucy Liu; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service are private.
