Kenneth Dwayne Bessent

Kenneth "Kenny" Dwayne Bessent, age 52, of Garden City passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2024.

Kenny was born on December 24, 1971 in Savannah, Georgia. He attended Jenkins High School. He worked in various types of construction over the years. He loved to fish. He had a big heart and would give you the shirt off his back. Kenny loved his two rescue dogs Patrick and Lil Bit; they were his pride and joy! One of his favorite songs was " Cheeseburger in Paradise" by Jimmy Buffet. We hope that when you hear the song you will think of Kenny!

Survivors include his mother, Marlene (Spivey) Crist (David); sister, Pam Bessent-Spitdowski; nephew, David Spitdowski Jr.; brother, Joseph Daniel Bessent(Angela); nephews, Aiden Bessent, Connor Bessent; and niece: Kaitlin Bessent. Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Daniel Bessent Sr. (Linda) .

A memorial visitation for Kenny will be held Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 3:00 until 5:00 pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Dr. Savannah, GA. 31406).
