Kayla Symone Shuman, 23, of Pooler, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018.
Kayla is the daughter in Lisa H. and Andrew "Drew" M. Shuman; she was born in Atlanta, Georgia.
She was a member of Compassion Christian Church and a 2013 graduate of Windsor Forest High School. Kayla loved children, painting, playing soccer and she was very creative.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Barbara Shuman.
Survivors include her parents, Lisa H. and Andrew "Drew" M. Shuman; brother, Brandon; sister, Gabrielle; grandparents, Randy and Karen Henson, Joseph and Betty Shuman; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and many friends.
A Service to Celebrate Kayla's life will be held 12:00 p.m. noon, Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
The family request in lieu of flowers to honor Kayla's memory to please make donations to help either YMCA Day Camp for kids in need or Greenbriar Children's Center.
