Kay Clark Polston, age 81, of Savannah passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
Mrs. Polston was born on January 21, 1943 in Statesville, NC. Before retiring, she was a Wing Operator Builder at Gulfstream. She enjoyed being outside and enjoying the things she loved most: spending time with her family and her great grandchildren. Anyone who knew Mrs. Polston knew she had a heart of gold, and would do anything she could for you. She never met a stranger. She was a well loved and cared for woman who is going to be dearly missed by everyone. She is gone in our presence, but will always been in our hearts and will never be forgotten.
Psalm 73:26 says, "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."
Mrs. Polston was preceded in death by her husband, Spencer Lee Polston, Sr.; her daughter, Brenda K Graff; and her son, Spencer L. Polston, Jr.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Austin Bouton and Robert D. Graff; six great grandchildren, Nevaeh N. Graff, Adeline K. Graff, Robert D. Graff, Jr, Allison L. Bouton, Ella K. Bouton, Katherine A. Bouton; granddaughter-in-law, Megan L. Mccullough; niece-in-law, Sharol Wasson; family, Cindy and Darryl Polston and Trisha Semkin, Liz Scacchi and Family, James Polsto, Anthony Weston and family, Sandy Fordham and Family, Ricky Wasson and Family, and her remaining family in North and South Carolina.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive Savannah, GA 31406).
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
