Kathleen "Kathy" P. Wrenn, a cherished resident of Savannah, GA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 3rd, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on Tuesday, March 22nd, 1938, in Lockhart, Texas, Kathy brought warmth, kindness, and an infectious zest for life to all who knew her.
Kathy dedicated many years of service as a personal banker with Bank of America. She was known not only for her professional acumen but also for the personal touch and genuine care she extended to her clients and colleagues alike. She was very generous, always smiling, and willing to help others. She was a great mom and grandmother.
Away from the workplace, Kathy had a passion for reading, walking, and gardening. However, she was best celebrated for her talents in the kitchen, where she crafted desserts that were legendary among friends and family especially her caramel cake, lemon meringue pie, and out of this world brownies.
Kathy is survived by her loving daughters, Phyllis "Missy" Sackariasen and Pattie Barnes, along with Pattie's husband, Ronald, all residing in Savannah. She also leaves behind her devoted sister, Carmen Newberry, and her husband, Leon, of Springfield. Kathy's legacy continues through her grandchildren, Mallory Boyette and her husband, Chris, and Caleb Barnes, as well as her cherished great-grandchild, Wrenn Boyette, and another blessing soon to arrive. Her nieces and nephews will fondly remember her warmth and spirit.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of fifty-eight years, James "Bobby" Harris Wrenn, and her parents, Emilio and Felisa Pastrano.
Family, friends, and others whose lives Kathy touched are invited to a visitation on Friday, April 11th, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel, Savannah, Georgia.
