Kathleen Duffy Henry

Kathleen Duffy Henry of Savannah died peacefully on May 14, 2022. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Bob Henry and her sister Maureen Schaffer. She leaves the world a darker and less lovely place.

Kathleen was born in The Bronx on December 2, 1932 and attended the Villa Marie Academy before graduating from the College of New Rochelle. Subsequently, she earned her master’s degree from Mississippi College.

Kathleen and Bob moved to Skidaway Island in 1985 and she was involved in numerous charitable activities in the Savannah area including the Telfair Museum and Savannah Friends of Music. She was the copy editor for the Courses of Skidaway Island.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Saint James Catholic Church in Savannah or Saint Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis.

The funeral mass will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Saint James the Less Catholic Church, 8412 Whitefield Ave, Savannah, GA 31406.
