Kandi Jean Suarez Hackney, 47, of Bloomingdale, died Thursday, October 6, 2016 at her home under the care of Hospice Savannah and surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Fort Myers, Florida, and was a graduate of McKinley High School in Canton, Ohio, and a member of Canton Baptist Temple, in Canton, Ohio.
She was a wife, mother, and entrepreneur and was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Byland Suarez.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Johnson Hackney, Jr.; daughter, Sarah Marie Hackney; son, Damon Dupler; father, Randy L. Suarez; grandmother, Jean Marie Suarez; 2 brothers, Dakota Suarez and Billy Fowler.
A gathering for family and friends will be held Friday, October 14, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 2:00 p.m.
