June Stevens Plummer, passed from the difficulties of this world into a celebration and joyful reunion in the eternal world.
June was the last surviving child of George and Jennie Stevens.
She was born in Rosston, Texas in 1927, raised in Roswell, New Mexico until 1946 when she followed her husband Jim to his home in Savannah.
Jim and June raised a loving family: Kathy Bell (Duke), Bruce Plummer (Brenda), Sandra Brack (Don), and Michael Plummer (Christy).
Her positive life and influence are continued in her nine grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Windsor Forest Baptist Church, 12532 White Bluff Rd, Savannah, GA 31419.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, April 6, at Hillcrest Abbey-East, Wheaton Street.
