June Taylor Stamey, 78, of Bloomingdale passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Thunderbolt Transitional Care and Rehabilitation (Tara of Thunderbolt).
Born in Pembroke, Georgia, June was the daughter of the late Edgar Taylor and Catherine Sowell Crepeau. She was a Homemaker and a Baptist.
June was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, H.D. Stamey; daughter, Deborah Bowers; granddaughter, Jennifer L. Yarbrough; sister, Loretta Thomson; brothers, Thomas and Joseph Taylor.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Diana B. and Russell Lewis; son, Nelson R. Bowers; sisters, Patricia Hearn, Elaine Chapman; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews
A memorial service and gathering will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Brookstone Community Church, 604 Goshen Road, Rincon, GA 31326.
