Julie Elaine Smith Hagan, 43, Passed away on September 1st, 2019, after a trip of a lifetime celebrating their twenty fifth wedding anniversary with her beloved, Daniel.
Julie was born in Savannah, Georgia on October 7th, 1975. She grew up in Thunderbolt, Georgia and graduated from Johnson High School. Choosing a career in banking, she worked 22 years at Powerco Federal Credit Union rising to the position of branch manager.
Julie was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, and mother. Her heart of gold radiated for not only her natural children, but any child that walked through her door. She always made time for her kids no matter what the circumstances were. She was loving, understanding, and had a beautiful soul that left its mark on everyone she met.
Julie was preceded in death by her Father, James F. Smith; Brother, John Stephen Smith; Maternal Grandparents, Henry and Blanche Etheredge; Paternal Grandparents, Lawton and Marjorie Smith; Uncles, Alver and Carlos Smith. She is survived by her children Matthew, Joshua, and Madison Hagan; Mother, Janet Smith; Brother, James F. Smith II(Candace); Nephew, Parker and Niece, Brooklynn Smith; of Guyton, Georgia; as well as many loved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday, September 9, 2019 at Countryside Baptist Church, 1201 Noel C Conaway Road, Guyton, Georgia 31312.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Countryside Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Bukowiec officiating.
Entombment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.
