Julian Robert "Bob" White age 71, of Pooler passed away Sunday, September 16th at his home under the care of Hospice Savannah.
Born August 14, 1941 in Savannah, he was the son of the late Mary Bagley and Julian White of Hinesville. Mr. White served in the 164th Georgia Army National Guard - Heavy Equipment Maintenance Unit. He was an insurance agent for thirteen years and retired from Walmart in 2004 after twenty years of service.
Bob married Reba Elizabeth Tuten Beasley on August 30, 1968 and they lived happily together until the time of her death on January 19, 2009. Bob was baptized on May 20, 1973 and served Jehovah faithfully until his death as a member of the West Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Besides his parents and his wife Reba, Bob was preceded in death by his step-son Johnny Beasley & wife Evelyn. He is survived by a step-son & step-daughter, James and Norma Beasley of Savannah; 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and several cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday, September 23rd from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at Bonaventure Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, September 25th at 1:00 P.M. in the Kingdom Hall, Jehovah's Witnesses West Congregation, 2019 Mills B. Lane Boulevard, Savannah, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
