Judy Kay Gardner, 81, of Savannah, GA, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at Hospice Savannah.
A native of Arkansas City, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Everett Gardner and Dorothy Thelma Jameison Gardner.
She was one of four sisters and prided herself on being quite independent, always taking care of her own needs until her health began failing. She was very reserved and quiet, preferring to keep to herself. She loved her sisters greatly and enjoyed her yearly trips to Michigan to visit her sister, Patricia.
She worked in retail sales for many years following her graduation from high school.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sisters, Norma Jean Vincent and Linda Sue Vincent; and nephews, James Vincent and Calvin Schoonover, Jr.
Survivors include a sister, Patricia Schoonover; niece, Mary Jordan (Joseph); nephews, John Vincent (Jennifer), Eddie Vincent, Danny Vincent (Janet) and Cecil John Schoonover; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
