Joyce Vickery Johnson, 92, passed away on February 13th, 2023.
She was born in Savannah, Georgia to her late parents, Jesse and Beatrice Vickery on May 30, 1930. Joyce was the beloved wife to the late Neal Johnson and the proud mother of her three daughters, Janice McCall (David), Teresa Parham (Charles), and Jane Lavin (Billy). She was the amazing grandmother to, Amanda McCall (Dennis), Charles Parham, Jr. (Shannon), Julie Valentine (Wes), Ryan McCall (Amber), Tara Little (Johnny), Timothy Parham, and Chad Graham. She was the loving great grandmother to 8 great grandchildren and the great great grandmother to 1 grandchild. Joyce was preceded in death by her brother, Elton Vickery.
Joyce was known for her love for her family, her feisty personality, generous heart, wisdom and her unbelievable drive and energy. Anyone who met her instantly loved her. While she worked until the impressive age of 78, in her free time she loved her Biloxi trips where she made many friends that she considered family.
A private graveside service will be held.
