Joshua Deberry

Joshua Ray DeBerry, age 35, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at Memorial Medical University.

Joshua was born September 19, 1981, in Savannah, Georgia. Joshua never met a stranger, and was loved by many. He was a self-employed "handyman" by trade, and took pride in the things he built and repaired. He was a very hard worker.

Joshua was preceded in death by grandparents Marvin and Eleanor DeBerry, and grandmother, Faye Campbell.

Survivors include his mother, Deborah Lyons; father, Sandy (Nancy) DeBerry; grandfather, Linward Campbell; brothers: Clint (Kirsten) DeBerry, Troy Gillespie; step sister, Danielle Bowen; fiance, Audrea Smith; nephew, Lucas James DeBerry; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The visitation will be on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Chapel with the memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.

Remembrances can be made to the Humane Society of Savannah or to a charity of your choice.
