Joseph Walter Plucinski

Joseph Walter "Ski" Plucinski, age 75, of Savannah passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024.
Mr. Plucinski was born on September 23, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Theodore Walter Plucinski and the late Catherine Maria Bansley Plucinski. He was of the Catholic faith and retired as a Corporal from Savannah Police Department after 32 years of service. He was also a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Sherrie Lynn Plucinski; son, Theodore Joseph "T.J." Plucinski; daughter, Autumn Shonk; and two grandchildren, Kyleigh Shonk and Amy Shonk.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Dr. Savannah, GA 31406).
A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Beaufort National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a charity of your choice.
