Joseph "Marshall" Brisendine, 68, of Springfield passed away Saturday, December 26th, 2015 at his home .
A native of Savannah, he was the son of late Wilson Marshall Brisendine and Sadie Kinnett Brisendine. Marshall was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Vietnam War, and was employed with US Government as a Purchasing Agent.
He enjoyed NASCAR, Golf, the outdoors, and most of all he loved his family.
Marshall was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, John E. Brisendine and a sister, Barbara Ann Brisendine.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years,Rose "Toni" Brisendine; daughter and son-in-law, Jodi and Brad Brantley; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Jaime Brisendine; his 3 greatest accomplishment his grandchildren, Breanna, Justis and Brian, Jr.; special niece, Debbie Brisendine Swafford and her 2 daughters; and many faith 4 legged companions.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday, December 30,2015 at the Fairhaven Funeral Home -Garden City Chapel. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 7:00 pm.
