Joseph "Joe" & Thomas Fox

Joseph Mark Fox, born 13 AUG 1998 in Albany, GA; and Thomas Denswell Fox, born 31 March 2000 in Macon GA passed on 27 AUG 2021 near Elba Island on the Savannah River.
Joe was an avid outdoorsman who loved being on the water with his squad. Joe used every minute of every day and truly lived every day to the fullest. He was a SGT in the GA ARNG and deployed with the 48th BDE; 118th FA, C battery, to Afghanistan in 2018. He was known as someone who would drop everything to help a friend.
Thomas loved to work on vehicles, motors and boats. He was always making them better regardless of their condition. He had a tight circle of friends befitting his quiet nature; but Joe’s friends gladly invited him into their circle over the past few years; which he greatly loved. He had a sharp mind for mechanical repairs and could be found late at night working on a friend’s auto in the garage or his own project.
Joe and Thomas were part of the Gulfstream community where they worked after high school at South Effingham HS. They will be missed by all of those that knew them.
They are survived by their parents, Mark and Shirley Fox, and their older sister Victoria Fox. We will always remember their beautiful smiles and warm hearts.
A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021 at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
