Johnny Willard Meeks, 36, of Ellabell passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

He was born in Savannah and grew up in Hardeeville. Johnny was the son of John "Rocky" Monroe Meeks, Jr. and Carol White.

Johnny was a family man, a loving and caring father, son, brother and friend. Johnny had a heart of gold that never met a stranger. He had a passion for driving and made many friendships along the way. He enjoyed attending races at Oglethorpe Speedway.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John M. and Joyce H. Meeks.

Survivors include his fiancée, Amanda Collins, his children, Mason and Tucker Meeks, Layton Collins, parents, Carol W. and James Jacobs, John "Rocky" M. and Ann Meeks, siblings, Ryan Meeks (Megan), Taylor Meeks, Amy Jacobs, Mary-ann Jacobs, grand parents, Donna and Johnnie White, aunts and uncles, Janet and Billy Boggs, Wendy White, Brenda and John Sanchez, Kim and Roy Powell, Connie and Stan Turlington, Bonnie and Josh Reyna, Tonya Simmons, a nephew, many cousins, other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 71 Ted Newton Ave. Bloomingdale, GA 31302.

In lieu of flowers, the parents have set up an account at SunTrust Bank to help out Johnny's family , emotional loss is hard enough without the financial stress
