Johnny Eugene Hazzard,

Johnny Eugene Hazzard, Jr., 76, had his transition on Friday, February 27th, 2015 at home with his loving wife of 37 years and caregiver.
He was born May 26, 1938 in Savannah, Georgia to Johnny Eugene Sr. and Gertie Coffee Hazzard and lived in Savannah his entire life. He attended the Historical Haven Home School and was a proud alumnus of Alfred E. Beach High School. After 35 years he retired from the International Longshoremen Association, Local 1414. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and a member of Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include: Wife- Dorothy Madeline Hazzard (Savannah), Children: Tawianna (Keith) Bailey of Lemoore, California, Walter (Donna) Paige of Gloucester, Virginia, Darlene (Jonathan) Kelly of Long Beach, California., and Dianna Paige of Atlanta, Georgia. Sister, Carolyn (Bobby) Stafford; Brother, William Earl (Maryann) Hazzard all of Savannah; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and a nephew.

Visitation: Friday, March 6th,  5-7 pm at Bonaventure Funeral Home, 2520 Bonaventure Road, Savannah. Funeral Services: Saturday, March 7th, 11 am at Central Missionary Baptist Church, 738 Hitch Drive, Savannah. Interment: Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park, East, 1600 Wheaton Street, Savannah. The body will lie in state for one hour at the church, prior to service.
