It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of John Robin Wells, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. John was born on Sunday, August 25th, 1957, in Savannah, Georgia, and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 15th, 2025, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah, Georgia, surrounded by his loving family.
John is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia Hinely, who stood by his side with unwavering love and support. He leaves behind a beloved son, Brandon Nicholas Wells, and a precious grandson, Bradley Christopher Wells, Jr. John also cherished his daughter-in-law, Jessica "Jessy" Devlin Wells, and his former wife and close friend, Sharon Ann Wells and shared a bond with his brother, Jack Wells. His extended family, including step-children William Williams (Stephanie), David Schuman, Jacob Lane, and Rebecca Lane, as well as step-grandchildren William Williams, Jr., Kamren Williams, Brianna Green, Kyleigh Williams, Christian Schuman, Waylon Hodges, and Annaleigh Hodges, mourn his passing alongside many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Alberta Todd Bragg, his father, Jack Wells, Sr., and his son, Bradley Christopher Wells, Sr., whose memories he held close.
John was the proud owner and operator of Wells Towing & Recovery Inc, where he dedicated 30 years to serving his community in Savannah and beyond. His passion for automobiles, notably expressed through his enthusiasm for car shows such as The Turkey Rod Run in Daytona Beach, Florida, and The Rod Run in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, was well-known among those who shared his interests. John found joy in the simple pleasures, such as riding around the tow lot in his golf cart, and he was frequently involved in buying and selling cars.
Family, friends, and colleagues will gather to pay their respects during the visitation on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel in Garden City, Georgia. A funeral service to honor John's life will be held at the same location on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025, at 11:00 am. Following a burial at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim, Georgia.

John Robin Wells will be remembered for his kind heart, his passion for life, and his steadfast love for his family.
