John Madden

John R. Madden, 73, passed away November 1, 2016 at his his home after a long illness.
He was a retired deputy sheriff with the Chatham County Sheriff's Department. His one big joy was being a Boy Scout Leader.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis Madden, a daughter Debbie Madden Brown (Terry), and two sons Christopher Madden (Rebecca), and Frederick Madden (Jackie), five grandchildren Stacy Taylor Turk, Tiffany Madden, Nicholas Madden, Frederick Madden, and Dustin Madden. As well as seven great grandchildren. He his also survived by his brother Joseph Madden (Linda), and two sisters Phyllis Hellijas (Wayne), and Janice French (Widowed). John was a long time native of Upstate New York before moving to Savannah, Georgia.
The family will hold a celebration of life on Saturday November 12th, 2016 at
