John Lee Johnson, 74, of Pooler, Georgia died Monday February 15, 2021 at his residence.
He was born in Charleston, West Virginia. He retired after serving 23 years in the U.S. Navy. While in the Navy he served on the new USS Midway. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a avid computer user.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Lee Johnson and Dorothy Lorain Johnson and sisters, Donna Cornell and Dottie Stalwart.
He is survived by his loving wife, Doreen Johnson, 1 daughter, Kim Hooper (Michael); sisters, Debbie Connor (Peter) and Lorri Kelly; brother, Rod Johnson; granddaughter, Mikeyla, Hooper; 3 loving step-children, Alanna Bliss (Patrick), Dianna Rhoades (Brad), Phillip Rhoades (Lena); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
