John Edward Gadomski

July 17, 1942 — January 31, 2021

John Edward Gadomski, 78, of Guyton passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Candler Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.

A native of Buffalo, New York, he was the son of late Edward Gadomski and Stefania Slon Gadomski and was raised in Attica, New York.

John was a US Air Force Veteran, after his retirement in 1980 he and his family moved to the Chatham - Effingham County area.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Celia Bennett Gadomski, sons and daughters in law, Tony and Cathy Gadomski, Mike and Debra Gadomski, Matt Gadomski, 4 grandchildren, Rachel, Erica, Alan Mikol, Ryley, 4 siblings, other family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 4, 2021 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Springfield, Georgia. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Father Martino Nguyen officiating. A Private Burial will be held at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, Georgia.

Masks are required and it is asked that social distancing be practiced in accordance with CDC guidelines.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Boniface Catholic Church Building Fund, 1952 GA-21 South Springfield, Georgia 31329 or the American Cancer Society.
