Joe B. Pruitt, 69, of Savannah, Ga., died Tuesday, Jan 23, 2018 at Candler Hospital.
He was born in Anderson, S.C.
He served in the 165th Ga Air National Guard Squadron.
He was retired from the CSX Railroad, after 22 ½ years, and also worked for the Savannah Police Department, and the Savannah Fire Department.
He loved to fish and hunt.
Joe was a loving Husband, Father and Grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Margaret Pruitt, and his brother, James Henry Pruitt.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Carolyn Pruitt of Savannah, Ga; one son, Joe Pruitt, Jr., (Jamie), 2 granddaughters, Jordan and Jayden Pruitt.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday, at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker.
Graveside Services: 11 a.m. Saturday in Bonaventure Cemetery.
