Jimmy Louise "Lou" Hopper, 86, of Savannah died Friday, June 30th, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family.
A native of Douglas, she was the daughter of James Edward Moore and Sarah Ann Spells Moore Kennedy. She was a member of Chevis Oaks Baptist Church, enjoyed baking, making pot holders, making sure that her entire house was clean and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Odis Lee Hopper, two sisters and her brother.
Survivors include her children, Dessie Ann Bishop (Jim), Daniel A. Hopper, Sr. (Tanya), Donna Knight (Wilbur) all of Savannah, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 5th, 2017 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home- Garden City Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 6th, 2017 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Kenny Harrellson, Rev. Dan Hall and Rev. Kyle Waddell officiating. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Abbey - West.
Baker-McCullough Funeral Home - Garden City Chapel is in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Hopper.
