Jimmie L. Boyette, age 73, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Jimmie was born in Collins, Georgia to the parents of Fred Boyette and Mary Lou Harper. It was while working at Georgia Regional that a beautiful registered nurse who was a single mother caught his eye. Jimmie and Mary Anna married and together learned to co-parent four children. He was an amazing father figure, personal trainer, and even tried his hand at being a beautician once; even though that haircut ended in tears and ice cream. Jimmie loved motorcycles, nascar, and his old sunbird that may or may not have had the bird on the roof depending on who is telling the story. He was an all around great person. He loved to read and could dispense the most interesting information at the most perfect times.
Jimmie is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Anna Boyette; his children, Todd (Diane) Coleman, Keith Coleman, Patti (Timmy) Hudson; Austin Boyette; grandchildren, C.J. Moore, J.J. Brown, Todd Everett Coleman; great grandchild, Elijah Moore; mother, Mary Lou Harper Boyette; two sisters, Tammy (Johny) Myrick, Barbara Boyette; and many nieces and nephews.
Jimmie is preceded in death by his father, Fred Boyette; and his daughter Katrina Coleman.
A Celebration of Life will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2022 at Savannah Baptist Temple, where Jimmie was a member for over thirty years, 1151 Mohawk St, Savannah, GA 31419.
