Jewel Rebecca Marchant

Jewel R. Marchant, 97, of Savannah and widow of James Price Marchant, Sr., died on June 2, in Savannah.
A native of Savannah, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Stevens and the late Exit Harley.
She was a member of the Evangel Temple Full Gospel Church. Mrs. Marchant was a Foster mother to over 248 foster children.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty Jacobs; son Rev. David Marchant;

Interment will be private.
