Jesse Logan Palmer, age 35, passed away suddenly the evening of Monday, June 19, 2017,when he suffered a tragic accident in the river off of Talahi Island. He was a Tybee resident his whole life, and spent many of his happiest times there swimming and fishing, and being with his family and friends. When he wasn't in the water, he was skateboarding, or cooking for numerous Tybee restaurants. He leaves behind his mother, Sharon Logan; his father, Joseph Palmer; brother, Joshua Palmer: sister-in-law, Amanda Palmer; many relatives in the Washington D.C./ Maryland area; and additional family in the Birmingham, Alabama area. Also, he will be sadly missed by his" furry" children: Zeus, Lil' Bit, and Bella. If you wish to make a contribution in Jesse's memory, please consider the Savannah Skatepark (under construction), the Humane Society, or the Tybee Island YMCA Summer Surfing Camp.
