Jesse Buren Hall

January 4, 1975 — September 15, 2021

Jesse Buren Hall was born January 4, 1975 in Savannah, GA to a military family. He entered eternity September 15, 2021 and was preceded in death by his parents Buren Steven Hall & Donna Lee Hall.

Jesse was known for his jovial demeanor and his special way of making those around him smile. He was always laughing and rarely had a serious moment. He was an avid sports fan and had been very athletic in his youth. He was the one who taught all his children how to throw a ball properly. Jesse enjoyed all sorts of cooking and was especially fond of making homemade pizzas and cookies. He was a great dancer and could still breakdance even as an adult! He really liked to watch Dragonball Z and play HALO and was a proud union man with more than 25 years at IUOE Local 25.

More than anything else, Jesse loved his children and grandchildren and wanted the best for them.

He is survived by his children: Robert Andrew Huffine Hall of Springfield, Stephen Blake Hall (Marcena) of Guyton, Cameron Taten Hall of Springfield, Elizabeth Danielle Hall of Springfield; and two grandsons: Ethan Daniel Cruz Hall and Henley Taten Hall. Also, he is survived by two sisters and one nephew: Brandy A. K. Gray of Brighton, IL, Stephanie M. Hall & Steven G. Patnaude, all of St. Louis, MO; and many more nephews, nieces, friends, and family.
