Jerome Ogden, 76, of Port Wentworth Georgia passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023 at Hospice Savannah.
A native of Odum Georgia, he was the son of Jesse Ander Ogden and Eunice.
He has been a barber for over 52 years. He owned Ogden Barber Shop in Garden City. He was a member of Living Faith Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his sister; Jewel Yandle and brothers, Gene Ogden, Jesse Ogden, Jr. and Donald.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Madelynn Huggins Ogden; sons, Joshua and Joel Ogden; sisters, Alberta Harvey, Marilyn (Dennis) Wallace, Iamma (Windell) Smith, Tamara (Matt) Hunt and Dianne Roach; brothers, Ted , Walker (Jennifer); Chris (Rhonda), Lee (Jeannie) Mitchell: sisiters-in-law, Nita (Randy) Harden, Pat, Linda and Carol.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at the funeral home.
Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Living Faith Church of God, 3789 Noel C. Conaway Road, Guyton, GA 31312.
Burial: 4:00 p.m. Moody-Tillman Cemetery, Fred Carter Road, Odum, GA.
