Heaven must have needed a master carpenter and professional landscaper because on March 17, 2021, Jeremy Shane Williams, age 39, was called to Heaven.
Jeremy, a Savannah native, was born on November 8, 1981. He attended Sol C. Johnson High School and trade schools to perfect his talents in irrigation and landscaping. He enjoyed those talents while working with Lowcountry Landscape as well as personally helping family and friends. He was also a skilled carpenter and woodworker.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his father, Horace Dayton “Harry” Williams, Jr.; maternal grandfather, Charles A. Rountree, Sr.; and paternal grandmother, Elleanor Fleming Williams. He is survived by his mother, Colleen R. Williams; children, Jadelyn Ryann Suzette Williams, Jace Nicole Williams, Jhett Hayden Reeves, Bentley Shane Maze, and Adalynn Shae Maze; sister, Tiffany Shae Williams; maternal grandmother, Betty B. Rountree; paternal grandfather, Horace Dayton Williams, Sr.; beloved dog, Dixie Marie Williams; nephew, Tristan Waylon Smith; niece, Taisley Harlow Gasque; aunt, Emmalene Youmans (P.O.); uncle, Alden Rountree (Kim); special aunt, Patricia Gail Nelson; aunts and uncles, Virginia Sasser (Alan), Debby Jones (Johnathan), Robin Williams, Charles “Charlie” Williams, and Ronald “Ronney” Williams; cousins, Vanessa, Valerie Y., Charles, Ryan, Marley, Grady, Lauren, Valerie S., B.J., Jonathan, Cara, Boyce, Byron, Charlie, Christy, Gordon, Sheena, Roxanne, and Eddie; special friend, Kim; and a host of extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hubert C. Baker Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA 31406. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Please dress casually as Jeremy always enjoyed being comfortable when he was with his family and friends.
