Jennie Lee Baxter

Jennie Lee Baxter, 81, of Guyton, Georgia died Sunday November 15, 2020 at Hospice of Savannah.

Jennie was born in Savannah, Georgia and was a member of South Gardens Baptist Church. She was a great Mother, sister, housewife, cook, avid bowler and loved fishing and crabing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Baxter; Father, Angus Cook Sr., Mother, Beatrice Cook; 2 brothers, Angus Cook, Jr. and Jack Cook; 2 sisters, Thelma Walden and Mary Adams.

She is survived by 2 sons, Richard Baldwin and Daniel Baxter (Lisa); 2 sisters, Linda Willis and Bonnie Sommers; 1 brother, Ralph Cook (Debbie); 4 grandchildren, Michael Baldwin, Sr., Sean Baxter (Dawn), Samantha Boyles (Jerret) and Tory Baxter; 6 great-grandchildren, Michael Baldwin, Jr., Myles Baxter, Keagan Baxter, Charlotte Baxter and Phillip King, IV, and Gracelyn Boyles ; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday 3:00 - 5:00 pm at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Monday at Dean Forest Baptist Church 1524 Dean Forest Road Savannah, Georgia 31408.

Burial will follow at Westside Memorial Park Cemetery.
