Jeffrey Zacharius, age 63, of Richmond Hill, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Jeffrey was born on September 20th, 1950 in Rochester, New York to Esther Zimmerman and Robert Zacharius. Moving here from Ambler, Pennsylvania, he lived here for the last 28 years. Mr Zacharius belonged to no clubs or organizations because he "was anti-social and hated everyone equally." He was a very good man and great to work with unless you did a poor job. Then, he was on your butt!
Preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Leslie Doolan, Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Leslie; a step-son, Bradley Watkins; 2 step-daughters, Laura Hauglie (Jay) and Donna Dewaay (Dave); 2 sisters, Erica Daharsh (Dwight) and Susan Fretz (Ken); 5 grandchildren, Kayla Reid, Alicia Hauglie, Brady Hauglie, Dag Dewaay, & Amy Doe along with his pet-children, Bogie & Becall.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Bonaventure Funeral Home with Funeral Service to follow at 6:00 P.M.
Contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
