Jeannine “Jean” Hammock Donnelly, age 89, went home to be with the Lord on June 17, 2023.
She was born May 13,1934 in Swainsboro, GA to the late Lessie and Eugene Hammock. She was the eldest of five children. Her parents moved from Swainsboro to Savannah Ga in 1947 and she would later begin her career as a medical transcriptionist in Savannah and later in Charlotte and Raleigh, NC. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-great grandmother and will be missed dearly by all.
She is survived by her two children, Pamela Wiggins and George Donnelly, Jr, as well as five grandchildren and four great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2023 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, Georgia 31406. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2023 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 315 Greenwich Road, Savannah, Georgia 31404.
