Jay Jay Davis

Jay Jay Davis, age 61, of Savannah passed away Monday, May 27, 2024.

Mr. Davis was born on April 25, 1963 in Tucson, AZ, the son of the late William R. Davis and Delsie Carlene Calhoun. He completed high school in Beaufort, SC and continued his formal education in Florida, earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for many years as an HVAC Technician and Mechanical Engineer, most recently with Specialloy. Jay Jay was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed eating and loved dancing.

Mr. Davis is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Meriam Balbon Davis; children, Tiffany Davis, Jay D. Davis (Lisa), Zachary Davis, Spencer Davis, and Lance Davis; brothers, Kenneth Davis (Athena) and Michael Davis (Terri); grandson, Parker Dobson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA 31406.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 31, 2024 at Greenwich Cemetery, 330 Greenwich Road, Savannah, GA 31404.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer Research.
