Janna Michelle Bush went to be with the Lord on Christmas Day, December 25, 2023 at the age of 58.
A proud native of Savannah, Michelle was born on October 11, 1965. She graduated from Calvary Baptist Day School in 1984 and attended Georgia Southern for a year before entering the workplace. Michelle had several jobs in her life, most notably at China Shipping and the Port. She also worked continuously over the years in the restaurant and bar business most memorably at Spanky’s, Knights of Columbus and the Crystal Beer Parlor. In 2009 she met her husband Jeff and they were married on August 3, 2015. They lived in Fairfax, VA until his retirement and moved back to Savannah in September 2022.
Michelle was a very loving and compassionate person with a great sense of humor. She knew many people in Savannah and considered them all her friends including her closest lifelong friends Erick Nowicki, Tiffany Flowers, Lisa Dyson and Patrice Kiley. She would do just about anything for anybody. If you needed a connection or something done in Savannah, she could take care of it.
Michelle was a very devoted wife and family member. She had a keen eye for decorating, was a great organizer and rarely missed the little details to be done. She had a special talent for mentoring young ladies who found it easy to trust and confide in her. She had an extra special relationship with her beloved step granddaughter Angelina.
Michelle was the greatest wife a husband could hope for. She will be sorely missed.
Michelle is survived by her husband Jeff and her Mother Margaret White. Her Father Walter “Bobby” White preceded her in death. She is also survived by her sister Denise Loper (George), two nieces Jessica Skarda (Rob) and Victoria Bryarly (Matt) , grandnieces Annabelle Skarda, Maggie, Haley-Grace and Josephine Bryarly and grandnephew James Skarda, stepsons Greg (Vianca) and Tim Bush and step grandchildren Angelina, Aiden, Lilly and Maddie Bush.
