Jane O'Connor Holland, 94, late of Decatur, GA died Saturday, August 12, 2017.
Born October 11, 1922 to Daniel Joseph O'Connor, Sr. and Magdalena Ambrose O'Connor, Jane was a life-long Savannahian, save for the past three years when she resided in Decatur, Georgia. She was baptized at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, and was a graduate of St. Vincent's Academy and Armstrong Junior College. She retired from Armstrong State College where she worked in the business office from 1968 until 1991. She has been a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church since 1961.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Daniel Joseph "Doc" O'Connor, Jr. and Ambrose O'Connor. She is survived by a son, Robert Holland of Decatur, GA; two grandchildren, Max and Claire Holland of Decatur; a sister in law, Genevieve O'Connor of Tybee Island; and a multitude of cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday August 19, 2017 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Catholic Cemetery.
