James R. (Jimmy) Owens, born January 14, 1949 entered into rest on May 21, 2018. He was a beloved father, brother and uncle.
He is survived by; Betty Ann Lariscy, Patrica Coats, Fran Weaver, and Kathy Owens; along with his two sons, Raymond and James Jr.; several nieces and nephews.
When people think of Jimmy Owens a smile will come on their face and a great story is always told. He will be greatly missed. "The dash serves as an emblem of our time here on earth, and although small, it stands for all our years of life and worth." He will always be remembered and loved by family and friends.
Family has entrusted Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel for making arrangements.
