James Madison Rogers

James "Jimmy" Madison Rogers, age 78, passed away on Friday, June 21st, 2024 in Pooler, Georgia. He was born on Monday, February 11th, 1946 in Savannah, Georgia.

Jimmy is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Linda Marie Moore Rogers, as well as nieces, a nephew, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law. He was preceded in death by his father, Pinckney Lamar Rogers, his mother, Mary Louise Ethridge Barlow, and his siblings, Betty Holton, Tommy Rogers, Charles Rogers, and Shirley Avant.

Jimmy worked as a Security Guard at Wal-Mart, drove a truck for most of his life, and also had worked with Robert Baker Construction Company. He loved playing BINGO.

A graveside service will be held at Bethel Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia on Saturday, June 29th, 2024 at 2:30 pm. Prior to the service, a visitation will take place at Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel in Garden City, Georgia from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
