James "Jimmy" L. Lewis, 69, of Rincon passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Compassionate Care Hospice.
A native of Savannah, Jimmy was the son of the late Thomas Lee Lewis and Edith Speir Lewis. He was a self employed Truck Driver.
Jimmy was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church. He was a member of the Zerubbabel Lodge #15 F. & A.M.'s and the Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp Davis #273 of Guyton, Georgia where he was involved in the Civil War reenactments.
He is survived by his wife Alice Willis Lewis; sons, Derrick Lewis (Tracey S. Lewis), Jon Lewis (Donna D. Lewis); a granddaughter, Jessica Lewis; a great granddaughter, Nilah Jae.
Graveside Service will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Laurel Grove Cemetery.
