James (Jim) Berringer Douglass, age 66, Died, Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Memorial Health Hospital in Savannah.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 16, 2009 from the chapel of Bonaventure Funeral Home. Mr. Kyle Shiver, along with friends of the family will officiate.
The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 AM until service time at Bonaventure Funeral Home.
James was born on July 12, 1942 in Pittsburgh, PA to the now late Fred and Mollie Evenelle Berringer Douglass. He was a member of the Wesley Oaks United Methodist Church and was a retired Elementary and Middle School Teacher.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Haines Douglass of Savannah; Frederick James Douglass, Johns Town, New York; William Anthony Douglass, Johns Town, New York; Erik Thomas Douglass and wife Davinia of London, England; Robert Lee Douglass of Thunderbolt, Ga. One Brother, Fred Douglass and wife Sara of Sinking Springs, PA, He was preceded in death by a son James William Douglass.
Bonaventure Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
