James (Jay) A. Yarbrough, III, 56, of Hinesville, passed away Wednesday, May 24th at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia.
Born in San Antonio, Texas, he was the son of James A. Yarbrough, Jr. and Geral Dean Wells Yarbrough. Jay served in the U.S. Air Force as a firefighter and later worked as a civilian firefighter at Ft. Stewart and the 165th Air National Guard.
Survivors include his wife Kwang Yarbrough; daughters, Sarah Yarbrough Kirkwood and Sydney Yarbrough; grandchildren Riley Kirkwood, Jackson Kirkwood, Madison Kirkwood, and Reagan Kirkwood; sisters, Christy Southard, Tracy Yarbrough and Kim Voigt, stepmother Virginia Rose Yarbrough, extended family and friends.
Services will be private.
