James "Jamie" Richard Yates, Jr., 68, of Savannah passed away Friday, September 22, 2023 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
A native of Roscoe, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late James Richard Yates, Sr. and the late Ethel Mae Stockton Yates.
Jamie was the owner and operator or JR Yates Painting Company.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Helen Wildes Yates; children, Brandy Yates Brauer (Paul), James Lamar Yates (Robert Bullard), Miriam Maria Hayes (Andrew); grandchildren, Olivia, Max, Adeline, Isabelle, Verity; siblings, Phyllis Kent (Sam), Bill Yates (Mindy), Kristy Keefer (PG); many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am Monday, September 25, 2023 at the Funeral Home.
