James Harold Pelote, Jr. 47, of Garden City died Saturday, October 14th, 2017.
A native of Savannah, Georgia , he worked in technical support for computers after attending Mercer University. He loved photography, specifically of flowers and plants and was a member of Silk Hope Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his father James Harold Pelote, Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Shelby Jean Ansley Pelote, his sisters, Carol Yarbrough (Dicky) of Hamilton, Georgia, Betty Rigdon (Randy) of Register, Georgia, Linda Thompson of Bloomingdale, his nieces and nephews, Katie Collins (Scott), Clay Yarbrough, Jennifer Bolton (Mike), Benjamin Thompson (Kristina), Jacob Thompson (Melanie), his six great nieces and nephews and a number of aunts and other relatives.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 19th, 2017 at 2 pm in Eastside Cemetery, Statesboro with Dr. Michael "Dusty" Reynolds officiating.
