James Larry Forsythe

James "Jimbo" Larry Forsythe, 75, of Eden, Georgia passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

A native of Lyons, Georgia, he was the son of the late Rev. James Henry Forsythe and the late Doris Terrell Forsythe McCullough.

James was US Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He was a Butcher for Walmart in Rincon, GA and loved Camping, Fishing, Wrestling and Braves Baseball.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Dena Forsythe, a sister, Terri "Braun" Darnell Forsythe.

Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Janice Jordan Forsythe, children, Joey Forsythe (Carman), Priscilla Forsythe, Jeffrey Forsythe, step son, Kenny Davis (Karen), sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and James Sikes, Sue and John Eustace, Mitzi Forsythe, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm Sunday, June 5, 2022 at the Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 6, 2022 in the Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jamie Rewis officiating and including Military Honors.

Burial: Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Glennville, Georgia.
