James Edwin Shea, Jr., age 60, died Monday, December 9th, 2013.
He is survived by his wife, Mindy Shea of Savannah; his mother, Elizabeth Jenson of Charleston, South Carolina, daughters, Aimee Dennis of Savannah and Lindsey Shea of Jacksonville, Florida; brother, David Shea of Charleston, South Carolina, sisters, Susan Bowers & Nancy Sirigos of Charleston, South Carolina, and Lorraine Rich of Florida; three grandchildren, two dogs, Lacey & Sophie, and Kate the Cat.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Edwin Shea, Sr. and his beloved Lab, Pepper.
James had a passion for furniture restoration, antiquing, refinishing furniture, enjoyed cooking, gardening, and his four-legged family members.
He was a Vietnam era veteran.
A private gathering of family and friends will be held in Charleston at a later date. Memorials may be made to: Humane Society of Greater Savannah, 7215 Sallie Mood Drive, Savannah, 31406.
