James David (JD) Conner, age 77, died on August 29 at Tara Nursing Facility. He was preceded in death by his parents Odice and Odetta Conner and his only sibling, Kenneth Conner.
JD is survived by his sister-in-law, Frances Conner (Kenneth); nephews, Chris Conner (Karen), Jeff Conner (Michelle), niece, Jennie Conner Thompson (Carlton); great nieces, Kendyl and Myranda Conner and Molly Conner and great nephews; James and Jackson Thompson, and Andrew Conner. He will be remembered and missed by his family and many friends, especially Mitchell Stanfield.
A gathering in memory of JD will be held at Baker-McCullough Funeral Home, 7415 Hodgson Memorial Drive, Savannah, GA 31406 on Saturday, September 22 from 10-11:00am. Burial will be private. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be sent to St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 2 St. Thomas Ave., Savannah, GA 31406; or to your favorite charity.
